Tetris as Art
contributed by Cacodaemonia
You really can’t call yourself a nerd/geek/dork (possibly not even a human?) unless you’ve played Tetris. Created on June 6, 1984 by Alexey Pajitnov, Tetris has become one of the most well-known and reinvented games ever. Some variation of Tetris has been ported to nearly every gaming system and handheld device since the 1980s. All seven puzzle shapes in Tetris are composed of four segments, and each unique shape is assigned its own color. These two features lend themselves exceptionally well to use in a wide variety of stylin’ arts and crafts.
